People always have this misconception that if you make your ex jealous, he or she will ultimately run back to you and sweep you off your feet. This is certainly not the case and should not be considered when trying to think of how to get your ex back. There are many reasons as to why this is discouraged and the main one is because your ex will assume that you have moved on and forgotten about him thus will also let go of you and move on. You might think that you have had a positive impact on him by letting him see you with someone else but in actual sense you have aggravated the situation further and have made any chance there was of him chasing after you greatly reduced. If you are planning on moving on, do it and do not pretend to do it in order for you to mislead your ex and make him jealous.
